The middle of the flower has a chamber that was intended to hold scent-pellets that simulates the smell of rotting meat. The model also includes a unopened flower and a piece of tree on witch the real parasitic flower lives. Pictures from books where completed by information from previous models made by colleagues, and verbal information by people that have had the pleasure to see the plant in the wild.
