"It has been several years ago since Remie started working for the Blijdorp Zoo. Although we have our contacts with other modelmakers, our preference goes out to the work from Manimal Works. These animal models are not just lifeless replica’s form the living examples, but appear to be "real, living " animals. The models are very dynamic and seem to interact with the environment. A baroque approach without being kitsch. Our goal is to teach the visitors of the Blijdorp ZOO respect and admiration for the natural world. The beautiful models made by Manimal Works certainly contribute to this goal"
